Krum is kind of a strange little guy. Socially awkward and doesn't dance well. He is fond of large round rocks, checkered overalls, bare feet, and listening to Tangerine Dream music.
He is done with black and white prismacolor pencils with some texture added in Photoshop.

Jack-o-Lantern
This was a 90 minute total demonstration for my Media Techniques 1 class this last week. It is oil paint and 8 x 8 inches. It was a fun exercise. Couldn't post it earlier because the paint was too wet to scan the image.
Until next October......

Better Late Than Never
Loosing my father last month put me behind in lots of things. One of the casualties has been my Halloween drawings.
Tonight is the first time I have had enough energy to post anything. Here goes.
These are two rather small pen drawings. The first is the original Uncle Fester (Jackie Coogan) and the second is Frankenstein (Boris Karloff). I used a Pentel Arts Slicci 0.25 mm Extra Fine Gel Pen. I like these pens for quick sketches. They have a very fine tip but don't last very long.

I really don't like self portraits.
I have never much liked doing self portraits. Actually, I hate doing self portraits so here are a couple of portraits of other human beings. There is a story behind them I am sure, I just don't know what it is.
These are done in graphite on Strathmore 100% Cotton writing paper. I love this particular paper for drawing even though it is small enough for a clipboard.

The last fourteen!
Instead of breaking the last group into smaller chunks, here are the last 14 drawings. I do hope they make you smile a bit. I am noticing some interesting tendencies when I look at larger groups of work together. Hmmmm, have to work on those.
